Four injured in Henley Dam head-on collision
Updated | By ANA
Four people were injured in a three-vehicle collision on Selby Msimang Road in Henley Dam, Pietermaritzburg, on Sunday morning, KwaZulu-Natal paramedics said.

“At approximately 8.15am paramedics from ER24 and the local fire department arrived on the scene where they found the wreckages and debris scattered across the road,” ER24 spokesman Werner Vermaak said.
“It is understood that a VW Polo and a double cab bakkie collided head-on with each other. A third vehicle crashed into the back of the bakkie.”
Paramedics found the driver of the Polo trapped in his car. ER24’s rescue paramedics used the jaws-of-life to free him from the car. He sustained multiple lacerations and a serious fracture to one of his legs. Three occupants from the other vehicles suffered moderate injuries.
The injured were transported by ER24 and other services to Edendale Hospital for further care. The cause of the collision was not yet known, Vermaak said.
