Four missing Kruger lions found
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Four of the five lions that escaped from the Kruger National Park have been found.
The lions were first spotted off the N4 in the Nkomazi on Monday, with motorists alerting the authorities.
SanParks spokesperson Isaac Phahla says the fifth lion has been spotted at a farm, but has not been captured.
“We have difficulty locating the missing lion due to the low lying fog we have teams from the tourism and transport department and our rangers on standby. As soon as there is no fog we are going to work on locating it. The farmer is keeping an eye on it,” he says.
