Police in Mpumalanga have re-arrested four suspects who
escaped from the Pienaar Police Station, outside Mbombela.

The four men, who were nabbed on Saturday after escaping on Friday, have been involved in at least 32 house robberies and one murder.
According to Mpumalanga police spokesperson Leonard Hlati, they targeted the Tonga, Matsulu, Pienaar, Kabokweni and Baberton areas.
"Three of the suspects were found hiding in a house in nearby Tonga. The fourth suspect was traced and cornered while he was travelling by car.”
The suspects are expected to appear at the Kabokweni Magistrate’s Court soon.
"All four will face an additional charge of escaping from lawful custody in addition to charges related to their string of house robberies and one case of murder,” Hlati says.
