Mpumalanga police have arrested four suspects in connection with robbery and vandalism at a hospital in Carolina two weeks ago.
Police say the group went on the rampage after one of their friends died from a gunshot wound.
The suspects allegedly started attacking the hospital staff, robbing them of their belongings and vandalising the facility.
Spokesperson Selvy Mohlala says the men were arrested by the police's Anti-Gang Unit on Friday.
"The four suspects are due to appear at the Carolina Magistrate's Court on Monday, 03 July 2023 facing charges, including malicious damage to property as well as business robbery and possession of suspected stolen property."
