Four people killed in N3 taxi crash

Four people have died and eleven others were injured after a taxi overturned on the N3 in Germiston, opposite the PPC cement factory.

Netcare 911 said reports from the scene indicated that three women were in a critical condition.
"Four people were declared dead on scene by Netcare911 paramedics and other services. Reports from the scene indicate that the deceased on scene are all women," Netcare 911 said in a statement.
All the passengers in the taxi were women except the driver of the taxi.
According to Netcare 911, the highway has been closed and motorists were advised to use alternative routes.
