Four perish in head-on collision near Baobab Toll gate
Four people have perished in a head-on collision on the N1 near the Baobab Toll gate in Limpopo.
The accident involved a heavy motor vehicle and a small truck.
It is alleged that the Kia was trying to overtake the heavy motor vehicle unsafely.

“Four people died instantly on impact. It includes the driver and three passengers, who were in the small truck,” says Limpopo Traffic spokesperson, Mike Maringa.
“The driver of the heavy motor vehicle survived with serious injuries.”
Motorists using the N1 have been urged to exercise caution as all lanes are temporarily closed to traffic.
