Four suspected illegal miners found dead in Benoni
Gauteng police are investigating the deaths of four people who were found lying next to the road Snake Road in Benoni on Tuesday night.
According to spokesperson Mavela Masondo the four bodies found wrapped in blankets and plastics.
"Police were called by an anonymous person about four bodies that were dumped next to the road. An inquest docket was opened for investigation.
“A post-mortem will be conducted to confirm the cause of death. The bodies are not identified yet but are suspected to be of illegal miners."
