Fuel price rise in August

The retail price of fuel will increase next week, the department of energy said on Friday.

The retail price of fuel will increase next week, the department of energy said on Friday.
Spokeswoman Thandiwe Maimane said the price of all grades of fuel would increase by 32 cents per litre.
Both forms of diesel, with a 0.05 sulphur octane and 0.005 sulphur octane, would increase by 32.96 cents per litre.
The price of illuminating paraffin would increase by 25 cents per litre and liquid petroleum gas would increase by 22 cents per kilogram.
The price changes would be effected on Wednesday, August 7.
