Fuel price set to decrease in November, AA predicts

Petrol and diesel prices are likely to decrease in November, with a small increase predicted for illuminating paraffin.
This is according to the Automobile Association (AA), which was commenting on unaudited mid-month fuel price data released by the Central Energy Fund.
The AA's Layton Beard says petrol and diesel are most likely to drop in November.

"At mid-month we project that petrol is poised for a reduction of between 14c and 17c per litre with diesel set to fall by approximately 20 cents a litre.
"The current data showing the fuel up by around five cents a litre," Beard explains. "After a long a large spike in the daily exchange rate, the rand has returned to its current level of around R16,55 against the US dollar.”
