You are going to pay more at the pumps next month.
The Department of Energy on Friday announced that the price of petrol and diesel will increase in October.
Petrol will increase by between 43 and 44 cents a litre, while diesel will increase by 23 cents a litre.
Illuminating Paraffin will go up by 22 cents a litre.
According to the department, the increase in the international oil price was one of the main reasons for the adjustments.
"A key factor that contributed to the increase in the prices of crude oil was the sharp fall in US crude stocks which pushed the prices up ahead of an oil producers meeting in Algeria, which was planned to take place on 28 September 2016 and speculation of a production freeze," it said.
The fuel price adjustments will kick in on Wednesday, 5 October 2016.
