A gas explosion near a shopping mall in the capital of Doha has killed 9 people and injured a total of 32.
The blast was close to a landmark mall.
The source of the blast allegedly came from a gas bottle in “Istanbul Resturant” that exploded. One body was recovered 50m from the blast.
Qatar is a small, wealthy Gulf Arab state with abundant reserves of natural gas that will play host to the 2022 World Cup.
