across the province at the weekend.

The suspects were arrested for attempted murder, possession of unlicensed firearms and house robbery.
Provincial police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini said one of the suspects is under police guard in hospital after he was attacked by Olievenhoutbosch residents.
“Police responded to a possible mob justice in Olievenhoutbosch and found a man bleeding on the floor. When police questioned him it became apparent that he was in possession of an unlicensed firearm. We do not know the motive behind his attack,” Dlamini said.
