Gauteng police nab 6 suspected of ‘follow home’ robberies
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
Gauteng police have arrested six suspects in connection with a spate of robberies where people are followed home from the bank.

The suspects were arrested at Menlyn Mall in Tshwane on Thursday after they were found in possession of unlicensed firearms and a vehicle with cloned number plates.
"Upon searching the suspects, police found unlicensed firearms. It was also established that one of the cars was fitted with false number plates," says Gauteng police spokersperson Mavela Masondo.
Masondo says suspects were arrested for possession of unlicensed firearms and more charges might be added pending their investigations.
Meanwhile, Masondo says two other suspects were sentenced to life imprisonment in connection with a bank robbery and murder in Diepsloot in 2018.
