Gauteng police are searching for clues following a break-in at the offices of the commission of inquiry into state capture in Parktown.
Police confirmed the burglary on Sunday.
The burglars are believed to have gained access to the offices on Saturday night.
“We can confirm that police are investigating a business robbery after the break-in at the commission in the early hours of today,” said Gauteng police’s Noxolo Kweza.
Although police did not confirm what was stolen, it is alleged that they fled with two computers.
Hearings at the commission is still expected to continue on Monday despite the break-in.
National Assembly Speaker Thandi Modise will take to the stand followed by the chairperson of the National Council of Provinces Amos Masondo.
