Gauteng remains without an executive as ANC, DA squabbles continue
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
The announcement of the new Gauteng executive was postponed for a second time on Monday evening.

Premier Panyaza Lesufi was due to announce his team of MECs, but the continued squabbles between the ANC and DA meant Gauteng remained the only province without an executive.
The ANC failed to retain its majority in country's economic hub following the May elections, with the party's support declining to 34%. No other party managed to secure an outright majority, which has necessitated the need for a powersharing agreement.
Speaking to the media on Monday evening, the ANC's provincial secretary, Thembinkosi Nciza, accused the DA of trying to shut the door on smaller parties in the coalition talks.
"We believe that we are very fair," he said.
"We are accepting what needs to happen, but we are not going to allow anybody to bully us when we have a view that is contrary to DA.
"The DA can act as if they are a victim, as if they are being left outside.
"What we don't accept is us having a concept of saying there's a coalition of ANC and DA in Gauteng. It's a coalition that is bringing everybody, rather.
"It's a government of provincial unity that must bring everybody. And that's where we are in this province."
The announcement is now expected to be made on Tuesday.
