Gauteng takes women empowerment to communities

Gauteng MEC for Social Department Development, Nandi Mayathula-Khoza, will today take her Department's Women's Month Community Dialogues to Daveyton in Ekurhulleni.

The dialogues, which began in Soweto on Monday, are part of the provincial government's efforts to assist Gauteng women to access all government services.
Empowerment is expected to be the main focus of the dialogues that will take place today in light of Women's Month being celebrated in South Africa.
It will start with the MEC's visit to the local Victims Empowerment Shelter and then proceed to Moroka Hall where well engage women especially young women of women empowerment.
This week's programme will end in Tshwane where the MEC will visit the Assemblies of God Church in Mamelodi.
The GDSD will issue weekly update of the programme expected to run until the end of the month.
