Gauteng’s top cop vows to hunt down school arsonists

Gauteng police commissioner Elias Mawela has vowed to hunt down those responsible for the torching of schools in Tshwane.
The admin block of Soshanguve High School, north of the city, was destroyed in a fire which broke out in the early hours of Wednesday morning
This is the fourth school in Tshwane to be engulfed in flames since the start of the 21-day lockdown.

"The attack and burning of schools will not be tolerated and police will make sure that those who are behind these criminal acts are hunted down and brought to book," said Mawela.
A case of arson is being investigated by police.
