The SCA set aside the decision to remove Jiba and Mrwebi from the roll of advocates.

The GCB's chairperson Advocate Vuyani Ngalwana says the council will hold its annual general meeting this weekend and Jiba's matter will be one of a range of matters set to be discussed.

"There are about 35 matters on the agenda," explains Ngalwana. "One of those items - it's a standing item since the instruction of this application some couple of years ago - is the Jiba matter."

The case relates to their decision to withdraw charges against former police crime intelligence head Richard Mdluli.
