Home Affairs Minister Malusi
Gigaba has apologised for gesturing with his pinky finger when trolled by the
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) on Tuesday.

The incident happened during a heated question and answer session with President Cyril Ramaphosa in the National Assembly.
EFF's spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi trolled Gigaba, telling Ramaphosa that his Cabinet members should be issued with phones without cameras.
"You might have to start ordering it for cabinet members, it will save us from their embarrassing activities," said Ndlozi.

Ndlozi’s remarks were in reference to the sex video allegedly stolen from Gigaba's phone and leaked on social media.
Gigaba caused a stir both in parliament and on social media when he responded to the EFF from his bench in Parliament, by showing his pinky finger to Ndlozi.

“I apologise, unreservedly, for this gesture. The petty taunts that provoked it and the strain I have been taking over the past 10 days," Gigaba wrote on Twitter.
