Girl (6) raped and killed in Eastern Cape
Police in the Eastern Cape are searching for an
unknown number of suspects who raped and killed a 6-year-old girl
in Mdantsane.
The girl’s body was found dumped next to a road earlier this week.
Provincial police spokesperson Thembinkosi Kinana says the girl was raped and killed while walking to a local shop.
“The SAPS management in the Eastern Cape is appealing to the community to assist with any information that can assist our investigations into the recent incident involving a 6-year-old child, who was raped and murdered by unknown suspects in Mdantsane.
“According to the information received, the innocent and unsuspecting child had gone to a local shop to buy some sweets when she was confronted by heartless and wild criminals who did not only rape her but violently took her life without any cause. The child was later found deceased along the road in one of the units in Mdantsane.”
