The search for a missing three-year-old girl from Alexandra is set to continue along the banks of the Jukskei River today.

Everlate Chauke was swept away in the flood water following a massive storm on Wednesday.
Despite two days of search and rescue efforts, she has still not been found.
Police search and rescue teams, with the assistance of emergency services, spent the last two days combing the river and its banks trying to find the toddler.

Captain Dean Scudder from the police diving unit says they had to stop the search by late afternoon due to rising water.
He stresses they are determined to resume the search today.
"It is disheartening. It's very sad for the family that we haven't recovered the body as yet, but we will keep trying and hopefully we do get something," says Scudder.
