Gloria Bosman hailed as her 'glorious voice' falls silent

South African internationally acclaimed jazz singer, Gloria Bosman has passed away.
The renowned artist passed on at the age of 50 on Tuesday.
A close friend of the songstress confirmed the death, saying Bosman died peacefully at home.
The cause of her death is not yet known.
Bosman's music saw her winning two South African Music Awards (SAMAs).
Renowned musician, Sipho "Hotstix" Mabuse paid tribute to Bosman, describing her as a music giant.
"I am shattered, I want to pay my sincere, deepest condolences to Gloria's family, whom I know very well. Because Gloria to me was like a baby sister because I’ve had many encounters with her on stage, on the road and when I ran the jazz club, she was always willing and ready to perform.
"He glorious voice, she was a torch amongst youngest singers of how to be a great jazz performer. We are sadly going to miss her creativity and innovativeness; it is a great loss to South Africa. "said Mabuse.
