Gogo in Free State busted with drugs worth R60K
An 72-year-old woman has been arrested in the Free State after she was found in possession of drugs worth R60 000.
Police busted the woman in Zastron on Monday following a tip-off.
She was also found in possession of more than 70 identity documents, including more than 50 bank cards.
Police spokesperson Mahlomola Kareli says during the house search police discovered one drivers' licence, three passports and undisclosed amount of cash.
"The woman was arrested for dealing in drugs, Contravention of National Credit Act 34 of 2005 and the Prevention of Organised Crime Act. She will make her first appearance in the Zastron Magistrate's Court soon."
