Goose leaves Roodepoort in the dark

Technicians are on a bit of a goose chase following a power outage in Roodepoort.
Ward councillor, Leah Knott, confirms a goose flew into a powerline in Roodepoort West today.
"This goose flew into the powerlines. I am in contact with the team leader who is on duty for City Power. He says they required a specialist to assist."
Five technicians are currently on site to restore the electricity supply.
She says it's unclear when the power will be fully restored.
