The government has expressed its concern over the mysterious disappearance of Saudi Arabian journalist, Jamal Khashoggi.

Khashoggi went missing while at the Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul, Turkey.
Department of International Relations and Cooperation's (Dirco) spokesperson Ndivhuwo Mabaya says South African diplomats are engaging on the matter.
"We believe the matter between Turkey and Saudi Arabia will bring finality to the matter," says Mabaya.
Mabaya says the South African government will continue monitoring the developments in the Khashoggi investigation.
