The fiery crash cost the lives of 12 schoolchildren and their driver.

The children were being taken to school on Wednesday morning when the minibus they were in was hit by a bakkie between Kokosi and Wedela near Fochville.
Speaking to the media at the scene of the crash, Chiloane said support will be given to the affected families.
"When we lose school children, we feel the same pain that is felt by the bereaved families. So this goes to show that we need to do more to ensure that our children are safe on the roads.
"We will see how we will take the next step to support the families. I was speaking to the council leadership here on how do we come and assist the families collaboratively so that we can see how we are going to put our children in their final resting place.”
