Updated | By Algoa FM News
A Gqeberha police dog that went missing early on Tuesday morning in an open field between Algoa Park and Gelvandale was found unharmed by a member of the community.

Spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says a member of the K-9 unit was busy patrolling the area and spotted two suspects who were busy stealing cables at a power station.
She says he unleashed Uzzi and the suspects fled on foot and the dog chased after them.
Captain Janse van Rensburg says the suspects were not apprehended and Uzzi never returned to his handler.
She says a member of the community contacted 10111, and Uzzi was found unharmed and safe.
