Mugabe is facing charges after she was accused of attacking a 20-year-old model.
But ZBC is reporting that she returned home "in the early hours of this morning" along with her husband when he flew back from a summit of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) in South Africa.
She was facing assault charges, but had applied for diplomatic immunity.
It's not clear if it has been granted. The Mugabe's are expected to attend a funeral at Harare's Heroes Acre later today.
