Granny arrested for dealing in dagga

A 65-year-old granny from Dutywa has been arrested for being in possession of 3.8kg of dagga, Eastern Cape police said.
"She was arrested at her shack which is at Dutwya town. She was found with dagga that has a weight of 3.806kg with a street value of R4 000," said Captain Jackson Manatha in a statement on Wednesday evening.
"It is believed that the suspect had brought the dagga from Libode outside Mthatha. The suspect has been charged with dealing in dagga."
Makholisile Lubuzo, who was arrested on Monday, has already appeared in the Dutywa Magistrate's Court on a charge of dealing in dagga and she was released on a warning.
The matter was remanded to June 2.
