Hanekom takes swipe at Mbalula over tweet
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Former tourism minister Derek Hanekom has called out police
minister Fikile Mbalula.
It follows Mbalula's tweet about the motion of no confidence in President Jacob Zuma.
The police minister tweeted a meme, challenging ANC MPs to take a lie detector test about whether or not they voted with the opposition - much to the dismay of Hanekom.
Our organisation supported the secret ballot decision. Respect that! https://t.co/NHMgIcW0bm

In the tweet, Hanekom reminds Mbalula of his duties as police minister.
Rethink this cde Mbalula. Fight crime and corruption. Take a stand on Gupta looting. Who are you trying to please? https://t.co/NHMgIcW0bm

Mbalula is among several ANC MPs who have spoken out against those who voted for Zuma to go.
Zuma survived yet another motion of no confidence on Tuesday.
The DA-led motion failed in Parliament with 177 MPs voting in favour of the motion and 198 voting for the president to remain in his position.
A total of 384 votes were cast. Nine MPs abstained from the vote.
There are 151 opposition MPs in the National Assembly. The ANC has 249 seats in the National Assembly.
This means that about 30 ANC MPs supported the DA-led motion.
Hanekom is among several other ministers who had been fired during a controversial midnight cabinet reshuffle.
The ANC MP has been vocal about the perceived rot within the ruling party
