Hatang: Country of Madiba's dreams is in our grasp

Nelson Mandela Foundation CEO Sello Hatang says three years after Madiba's death and things are no better.

He addressed the foundation's gathering to commemorate the passing of the former president.
Today marks three years since Madiba's death.

Hatang does however believe that "the country of Madiba's dreams is in our grasp".
"In South Africa we talk a lot about #StateCapture. I want to talk about the capture of democracy.
"We are not living a reality of Madiba's dreams. Madiba's legacy requires us to be courageous. We need to decide when do we fight and I don't mean people should be armed."

Deputy president Cyril Ramaphosa is delivering the keynote address.
He says South Africans should continue celebrating Madiba.
