Hawks crack down on drug dealers

The Hawks in Gauteng have arrested five suspects in
connection with the manufacturing of drugs.

The crime-fighting unit’s Lloyd Ramovha the five suspects are between the ages of 20 and 59.
Two suspects were apprehended Esther Park, east of Johannesburg and three in Randfontein, west of Johannesburg.
"The team managed to seize drugs worth R1 million during the operation," says Ramovha.
The two suspects from Esther Park are expected to appear in the Kempton Park Magistrate Court on Friday.
The three suspects arrested in Randfontein, are expected to appear in Randfontein Magistrate’s Courts on Monday.
Ramovha says the alleged drug dealers are facing charges of dealing and manufacturing drugs and possession of illegal firearms and ammunition.
