According to a statement by the Hawks, the 33-year-old man was allegedly running an illicit licensing and police clearance operation.

He was arrested at this home in Belhar in the Western Cape yesterday when almost R5.3 million in cash as well as several ID documents and two vehicles were seized during the search and seizure operation.

Acting head of the Hawks in the Western Cape, Brigadier Mzwandile Ndlovu, praised the members for the arrest.
