Heatwave conditions expected to last until Sunday
Updated | By AFP
The South African Weather Services (SAWS) says South Africans can expect the heatwave to linger through the weekend.

The mercury has been rising across vast parts of the country - the Western Cape, the Northern Cape, Free State and Gauteng.
SAWS forecaster Mbali Maliake says extreme isolated thunder showers are also still expected in Gauteng.
"Most of the rainfall that we are expecting that will help with the cooling of the high temperatures will be on Sunday," says Maliake.
