Helen Zille to face the music
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Western Cape premier Helen Zille will face disciplinary action following her controversial tweets about colonialism.

DA leader Mmusi Maimane says the decision was taken following a special federal executive committee meeting.
A Twitter storm erupted after Zille posted a series of tweets on 16 March including: "For those claiming legacy of colonialism was only negative, think of our independent judiciary, transport infrastructure, piped water etc."
Maimane says the disciplinary hearing against the former party leader will look into more than just her tweets, but also comments made elsewhere.
"We have made a decision as a party, what has been a very difficult decision, to institute formal disciplinary actions against Helen Zille," he told a media briefing in Cape Town.
He says he doesn't believe Zille to be a racist.
