High Court to rule on Zuma legal fees

Former President Jacob Zuma will learn today whether he
should personally pay his legal fees.

The North Gauteng High Court is set to deliver a landmark ruling pertaining to the spy tapes saga and an agreement that the State will continue to foot the bill.
It is believed Zuma's legal fees range between R15 million and R30 million - paid from of taxpayers' money.
The Democratic Alliance (DA) and the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) believe government should not pay for the former president's legal fees.
"We are taking them to court to say 'You can't pay for corruption and ask us to pay for it'," says DA's Mmusi Maimane.
