Four constables have been arrested for in connection with the death of a man at the Honeydew police station on Sunday night.

It's alleged that the constables continuously assaulted two men in the station’s holding cells.
One of the men later passed away.
Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid) spokesperson Sontaga Seisa says the assault apparently continued until the 39-year-old male "dropped down whilst on handcuffs".
"The fact that the deceased dropped down and started bleeding did not deter the constables from assaulting and kicking him.
"After the assaults the suspects left the arrested males in the holding cell," he says.
Sontaga says the constables on duty were alerted by the 34 year old male that the deceased was breathing abnormally, however police ignored the report.
"Later on the police removed the surviving assault victim and took him to Randburg police station for detention.
"During the Sunday night the deceased's family member visited Honeydew police station and insisted to see his brother and it was discovered that he was no more," he adds.
The four suspects, aged between 25 and 36 years are expected to appear before the Randburg Magistrates on Monday, on charges of murder and assault to do grievous bodily harm.
