Horror bus crash on JHB highway
Updated | By Nathan Daniels
Authorities retrieved the bodies of two people after a bus overturned on the N12 West in the south of Johannesburg in the early hours of Tuesday.

The passenger bus was traveling from Mthatha in the Eastern Cape to Germiston on the East Rand, when it overturned.
All 30 passengers on board were injured.
The cause of the accident is still unknown.
"We are just about to uplift the bus just to make ensure that there are no more patients that are trapped underneath. A number of people were trapped when we arrived on scene. Two people have died and we have managed to take others to hospital in a serious condition," says Johannesburg Emergency Services spokesperson, Nana Radebe.
According to the Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD), the entire N12 West had been closed.
"The freeway is completely closed, and traffic is very very backed up. People are advised to use Kliprivier. At the moment people can also exit at the R59 or Comaro Road."
