Human Rights Commission assessing various complains against Mnxitama
Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) has confirmed it received various complaints against Black Land First (BLF) leader, Andile Mngxitama.

The cases relate to Mngxitama's comments in which he told supporters to kill white people and their pets.
In a video, Mgxitama says "We will kill their women, we will kill their children, we will kill their dogs, we will kill their cats, we kill anything that comes for us."
Mgxitama made the comments at a rally in Potchefstroom over the weekend.

"This in accordance with its Complaints Handling Procedures for purposes of conducting an investigation into whether or not human rights have been violated and what steps should be taken to secure appropriate redress."
Smith says a decision will be made soon on how to proceed.
