Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Sfiso Ncwane's mother, wife and son have arrived at the eThekwini Community Church in the Durban CBD, where members of the public and congregants of the church have gathered for the memorial service of the late gospel singer.

Ncwane died in a Johannesburg hospital from kidney failure on Monday.
Hundreds of people packed the church this morning, to honour the late musician.
Ncwane's wife Ayanda, his mom, and one of his son's arrived at the memorial a short while ago.
ANC KZN chairperson, Sihle Zikalala is also in attendance.

The service got underway an hour late, but mourners passed the time by singing hymns in honour of Ncwane - as they waited for the service to begin.
Banners with Ncwane's face emblazoned on them were erected at the front of the stage.

Members of his staff also paid tribute to the late SAMA winner and reality TV show judge.
