Hurricane Harvey: Van with six drowned family members found

A US family of six are presumed dead after the van they were travelling in had been washed away during the Harvey floods.
The van has been found - three days after it was swept away.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez has briefed the media about the discovery of the van which plunged into Greens Bayou on Sunday morning.
He says at least two bodies can be seen inside the vehicle.

Gonzalez says the driver had managed to escape and was rescued on Sunday.

His parents, Manuel Saldivar (84) and Belia Saldivar (81) drowned along with their grandchildren Daisy, Xavier, Dominic and Devy.
All the children are under the age of 16.
The authorities have on Twitter shared a video of the submerged van.

The death toll from the Harvey floods continues to rise.
Thousands have been displaced as their homes are under water.

Harvey has made its second landfall, hitting Louisiana five days after slamming the US Gulf Coast as a major hurricane.
It's now been downgraded to a tropical storm.
