I am going nowhere: SABC chairperson
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
SABC chairperson Mbulayeni Maguvhe told the media on Thursday that he will not resign from the board.
"I am going nowhere, with or without an inquiry," he said.
Maguvhe has accused Parliament's Portfolio Committee on Communications of treating the board unfairly and making use of bullying tactics.
The committee yesterday agreed to institute an inquiry into the board's fitness if its remaining members refused to resign from their positions.
"I'm still waiting for the letter that is supposed to be coming to me, bullying me to resign. That is what they are saying, because they want to make me - through the so-called inquiry - a coward."
