Zuma 'ill', unable to testify at Zondo commission
Updated | By Lulutho Mkosi
The commission of inquiry into state capture has confirmed that former president Jacob Zuma will not be attending his scheduled hearings this week due to illness.
The former president was scheduled to appear before the commission on Monday.
This comes after he was expected to appear on the 22nd of October but could not attend due to his appeal of an earlier ruling dismissing an application to permanently stay his corruption trial in the high court in Pietermaritzburg.
In a statement, the commission said they were informed by Zuma’s legal representatives of his planned absence.
