I’m committed to preserving rights of women and children: Mabe
Updated | By Neo Motloung
African National Congress (ANC) national spokesperson Pule Mabe says he is committed to preserving the rights of women and children.
This comes after Mabe’s personal assistant, Kgoerano Kekana, lodged a complaint of sexual harassment against him.
The party found Mabe not guilty of any wrongdoing, however, Kekana took the matter to the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) where the matter was settled.
He said his next campaign will be to educate members of the ANC. .
“What we all must appreciate is that we need one another, out of the experience we go through we need to able emerge much stronger.”
Mabe was speaking at Riverside View next to Diepsloot, north of Johannesburg on Tuesday, where he cast his special vote ahead of Wednesday’s elections.
