Poverty levels in South Africa are extremely high.
Far too many South Africans are still living below the breadline.
An infographic by the Studies in Poverty and Inequality Institute (SPII) illustrates how the majority of blacks remain in the clutches of poverty.
Our democracy is 23 years old and still the majority of those South Africa fought to liberate remain disadvantaged.
