Initiation season set to kick-off

Initiation schools in Limpopo are set to open this week this weekend.
The House of Traditional Leaders' Chief Malesela Dikgale says that the province is ready for the initiation season, which will come to an end next month.
Dikgale says they will not tolerate any illegal initiation schools.
Over 200 schools have been approved.

"We have conducted a workshop for all traditional leaders and traditional surgeons who have been granted permits to host initiation schools. Central and of cardinal importance of hosting his workshop was to brief and prepare the initiation schools stakeholders on precautionary measures to be followed in order to have a smooth process during the initiation period.
Dikgale says the schools that have been approved will be communicated to communities through traditional and governmental channels.
