The Department's Naledzani Rasila says a team has been sent to the area to conduct internal investigations.
"According to the information we received, the driver was found with the nyaope drug and it is alleged that he might have been selling it to learners," says Rasila.
Rasila says they are pleased by the work of the South African Police Service.
"They have done a good job to arrest him, and we believe they will continue to do a good job. We also believe that our schooling community will support the police so that this perpetrator is brought to book," says Rasila.
"The service provider will also be engaged."she adds.
