Israeli fugitive to remain in SA custody
Updated | By ANA
The case of the Israeli fugitive Shay Moslie, who is wanted for murder in his home country, was on Monday postponed at the Randburg Magistrate’s Court.
The court heard that State prosecutor Christo Steyn and Moslie’s defence advocate Sog Van Eck agreed it was necessary to postpone the matter to allow for certain documents to be obtained and made available to the court.
Van Eck stated that he had received copies of the documents from Israel, but was still waiting for the original ones.
Magistrate Pravina Ragoonandan told Moslie that he would be remanded in custody.
Moslie will be back in court on 27 November. - ANA
