South Africans
have taken to Twitter to congratulate Caster Semenya after she won a gold medal
in the women’s 800m final at the Rio Olympics.

Semenya set a new national record of 1:55:28.
While some South Africans stayed up all night to watch Semenya run at 02:15, others were happy to wake up to what has been described as a victorious win.
