Jacob Zuma survives accident, drunk driver arrested

Former President Jacob Zuma survived a car collision on Thursday evening.

KwaZulu Natal police have a 51-year-old man who is reportedly linked to an accident that took place on Thursday between Nkandla and Eshowe, involving Zuma.
He was arrested on charges of reckless and negligent driving.
Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe says no one was injured including members of the Presidential Protection Services(PPS).
"At the time of the collision, former President Zuma was in the vehicle with his protectors."
"The man is detained and is expected to appear before the Eshowe Magistrate Court on Tuesday."
